Senior Paid Media Manager
Role Description
Brightly Media Labs is seeking a Senior Paid Media Manager to act as a hybrid media buyer, strategist, and client partner.
Please note: This is a highly hands-on role. You will not be passing off execution to a junior team. You will be the primary owner of a dedicated book of client accounts, responsible for everything from building and optimizing campaigns in Google, Microsoft, and Facebook Ads, to leading client-facing calls and setting the high-level strategy to scale their business. If you are a seasoned media buyer who loves pulling the levers in ad platforms, but also excels at translating data into business growth for clients, we want you on our team.
Key Responsibilities
Hands-On Media Execution:
- Directly build, manage, and optimize campaigns within Google Ads, Microsoft Ads, and Facebook Ads (Meta).
- Perform daily account pacing, bid strategy adjustments, ad copy creation, general optimizations, and budget reallocations based on client ROAS/CPA targets.
- Maintain exceptional account hygiene and proactively implement A/B tests for creatives, landing pages, and new campaign tactics.
Client Relationship & Strategy:
- Serve as the lead point of contact for your book of clients, taking full ownership of their success and growth.
- Lead monthly and bi-weekly client calls to present performance results, explain the "why" behind the data, and pitch go-forward strategies.
- Translate high-level client business objectives into actionable paid media tactics.
Reporting & Forecasting:
- Analyze data across multiple platforms to extract actionable insights.
- Create budget allocations with data-based rationale to help clients responsibly scale their media spend.
Required Qualifications
- 4+ years experience directly managing Google Ads and Meta campaigns (agency experience highly preferred).
- Proven track record of independently managing client relationships and leading strategy calls.
- Advanced proficiency in Excel/Google Sheets (pivot tables, vlookups, pacing trackers).
- Deep understanding of SEM, paid social best practices, and the broader digital advertising landscape.
- Excellent communication skills—you must be able to explain complex media metrics to non-technical clients.
- Extremely detail-oriented with the ability to work independently in a fully remote environment.
Additional/Bonus Skills
- Experience with the Google Marketing Platform (GMP) suite.
- Direct experience working with hotel/travel clients.
- Familiarity with SEO principles, graphic design/ad creation tools, and utilizing AI tools for digital marketing efficiency.
Additional Information
- Compensation Range: $70,000 - $100,000+ per year. Compensation will be determined based on the skills, qualifications, and experience of the applicant.
