ParityShield · Rate parity monitoring

Know which site undercut you, on which dates, before your next market manager call.

Other parity tools hand you a massive price grid and leave you to figure it out. ParityShield pushes high-signal alerts to your inbox, naming the seller, the exact dates, the gap, and the exact enforcement playbook to fix it.

Zero IT footprint: No PMS integration. No website code. Up and running in 24 hours.

Parity loss is intermittent, concentrated, and invisible to spot checks.

Parity loss hides in pockets: a last-minute booking window, a weekend stay. It switches on and off across the week, so searching your own hotel is one sample out of thousands of live auctions. Your Google Hotel Ads data already shows where you're losing. ParityShield turns it into alerts your revenue manager can act on.

88%
Losses concentrated close-in
A hotel can lose 88% of its auctions at 0 to 3 days out, while looking completely clean at 30 days out. If you only spot-check a monthly average, you miss the bleeding entirely.
80%
Offenders are uncontracted
The cheapest rate rarely comes from the major brand you signed with. It comes from rogue affiliates and downstream bedbanks that legacy scrapers aren't even programmed to watch.
75%
Hit rate on targeted searches
Instead of blindly scraping a wide calendar to find one leak, your ad data aims our search directly at the active losses. The result is high-signal evidence, zero noise.

How it works

Surgical by design: dozens of checks a day, not thousands.

Your ad data tells us exactly which dates to check. Our system tracks down who is undercutting you.

Read your ad data

Instead of blind scraping, ParityShield reads your own ads account to find where you are bleeding revenue. It pinpoints the specific lead-time bands and days you lose most.

Search the losing dates

We run targeted live searches only on the check-in dates your ad data flags. This catches the transient, close-in leaks that random spot-checks always miss.

Group the offenders

We don't just hand you a list of random websites. We trace every undercutting URL back to its parent company, so you know exactly which master contract to enforce.

The deliverable

An alert when something changes. A weekly read on where you stand.

Daily alert

Sent only when a new seller undercuts you or a gap deepens. It hands you the exact dates, the size of the gap, the auto-captured screenshot, and the playbook to fix it. If there is nothing to act on, it stays quiet.

Three findings you will not get from a rate shopper.

Looks cheaper, costs more

Some sellers display a nightly rate below yours and cost more once mandatory fees are added. The guest clicks the lower number and pays more than they would have booking direct. We measure both prices and give you the specific playbook to fix the underlying leak.

The episodes you keep missing

Undercutting switches on and off. We hold a 28 day baseline per property, so a four day break registers as a deterioration rather than disappearing into a monthly average.

Where the line sits

What this does not do.

It does not make the phone call.

The standalone software builds the unassailable case and hands you the enforcement playbook. Your team runs the play.

It does not scrape a 365-day calendar.

Legacy rate shoppers run a blind census across thousands of empty dates to justify their price tag. ParityShield is a targeted strike; it only samples the exact dates where your Google Hotel Ads telemetry proves you are actively losing bookings.

It does not guess intent.

It doesn't care why a reseller is undercutting you. It simply reports what was displayed on Google and what was charged at checkout, giving you plain-English evidence you can immediately forward to an OTA without needing a lawyer.

Frequently asked questions

Common questions about ParityShield.

Do you need access to my booking engine or PMS?

No. We compare what Google shows a shopper against your own direct rate as it appears in the same auction. Nothing touches your reservation system.

What if I do not run Google Hotel Ads?

ParityShield monitors live Google Hotel Ads auctions. If you are not currently running campaigns, we can help you set up baseline tracking, but active auctions are required for telemetry. Without them we would be checking dates at random instead of checking the dates you are actually losing.

Can I see it before I pay?

Yes. We run a read on one property and send you the first weekly digest. If the data says you have no parity problem, we will tell you that.

Will this hold up in a conversation with a market manager?

That is what it is built for. Each finding carries the check-in date, length of stay, the seller, both rates, the gap, and an auto-captured screenshot to prove it.

How many hotels can I monitor?

As many as you like, at the same rate each. Portfolios see the full list in one weekly digest rather than one email per property.

Next Steps
Two leaks, two different people to call.

1
Two contracted partners are undercutting you: Booking Holdings and Expedia Group.

Same message to both. You own these relationships, so this is the one that can be fixed inside a day.

  1. Open the October 8 evidence link above and screenshot the page.
  2. Send it to your market manager at Booking Holdings, and again to your market manager at Expedia Group.
  3. Ask each for parity restored within 24 hours.
Copy and Paste

“We are seeing rates below our direct price on Google Hotel Ads for check-in October 8, zero to three days out, screenshot attached. Please restore parity within 24 hours.”

2
Vio has no contract with you, and it is the bigger leak.

A gap this deep is a wholesale leak rather than a margin cut. You cannot email Vio. A test booking will name the wholesaler who supplied them, so treat this as a this-week job rather than today.
